Andrew Sherman is an independent Consultant and Project Director focused on working to help clients understand how technology could be used pragmatically to deliver key business outcomes. Andrew has spent over 25 years developing and implementing technology solutions to meet business needs both internally and for numerous 3rd party customers. He’s currently heading up a $70M Business Process Management (BPM) re-engineering and workflow related initiative at ANZ Bank.
Andrew started his career in IT as a lowly paid Despatch Clerk for an IT outsourcing company, but quickly worked his way through Operations, Production Control, Development and Project Management to senior Management roles in Marketing, Partner Program Development, CRM and Information Systems. Andrew has worked as an independent consultant on numerous customer programs, experienced plenty of pain in a number of start-ups and acted in senior positions for Ericsson, IBM, Telstra in Australia and the USA and ANZ Bank.
